74 degrees of Blue and Yellow

Well,  18 years have passed, and I am now residing in the hormone-infested, drug-infused "higher learning" boarding school that is Northern Arizona University.
Classes start on Monday.
And I need to talk to someone for my chair test... ><

Last Night, Good Night

Today is my last day in this house.
Last night in this city.
I am so looking forward to decent weather.
But my friends are in Phx.....

Three More Days

Three days to pack all my belongings
Three days to perfect Beethoven's 5th symphony
Three days to say goodbye

That sounds so sad!

Pretend this is a witty title

Hithere

well, my laptop can run World of Warcraft, Portal, and Portal2.
Because you needed to know that.
Also, for those of you who care, it can pull decent graphics.
huzzah for dedicated graphics cards!

Yesterday I spent all day with Beethoven.
I practiced his 5th symphony so much, that I can sing it in my sleep.
Because I couldn't do that before. /SARCASM

I'm kinda glad that I've played the symphony before.
Not that I'm playing the same part. NOOO, we can't have that.
How dare they assign 1st violin to a freshman?
Well, with the insane amount of music majors there are, I understand their thoughts.
But you'd think that the audition everyone gave would be enough to place everyone in their perspective section. Not that it's a problem for the other string instruments, but we violinists would appreciate that little bit of extra effort. The competition which makes up the majority of the violin world is fierce and harsh. In order to survive, you have to be willing to dedicate your life, heart, soul, and most of your time. Life is so you can attend the various lessons, practices and gigs. Time is for practicing. And practicing. And practicing. Then practicing some more, because those eight hours wasn't quite enough. Heart and Soul is required to make what you just practiced sound like a human is playing it, and not a robot attached to a metronome. There is no beauty in music without feeling.

Downloading

I have a new laptop ^.^
and I happen to be using it at this moment.
it's a PC
I refuse to get a mac.
Yes, yes. All you mac-worshipers will label me a heathen and burn me alive.
But at least I have my internet.

I start college in three weeks
that... is weird.
a whole life-cataclysm
I don't know how I'll survive without seeing my amazing keys friends.

Procrastination

As part of the final paper for my Eng. 102 class, we are to "discuss those factors in all papers which were successful. Praise yourself for what you have done well".
My response:  Ellen did particularly well in the area of time management. She was able to contrive and establish a paper worthy of commendation and plaudits on the eve prior to the morning of which the text was required.
 Yup. I'm that skilled.
